The State of European Tech 2024 report is out, produced by VC Atomico with partners HSBC Innovation Banking, alongside Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Slush. Lots of interesting data points and graphics. See link to the detailed micro site below. Point is well made that we now have 300+ unicorns across European tech, but lets not forget the long tail of earlier stage tech companies that might not satisfy the VC Power Law , but make a massive contribution nevertheless. Presumably they are buried in the M&A value of $604B since 2015 vs IPO value of $321Bn.
