Found this interesting infographic. Not sure how accurate it is but the point is clear: only a tiny fraction of start-ups get VC funding.

According to this article https://lnkd.in/e7BbgQBU there are around 78K startups in the US, India follows with 16K, followed by yep the UK with 7K startups. Other EU markets have around 2K each.

So getting some kind of reliable feedback loop in place for product-market fit before you run out of money should be priority goal
